Enter The Knott's Side

My family is Team Mickey. We love Disneyland. My husband and I met there a zillion years ago. We have taken our kids to Disneyland on a (multiple times a) weekly basis and used our annual passes to their fullest.
We. Love. Disneyland.
But, Disneyland is damn expensive for a family of six.
An annual pass is $329 per person, plus a parking fee of whatever that is, and you have a whole lot of monies tied up in the Magic Kingdom.
So, Santa Grandma gave us Knott's Berry Farm Passes for Christmas.

We tried our passes out this weekend and took the kids on some rides,

met some Peanuts,

chased some roosters,

held a jar of eyeballs,

and petted a toad.

We are not in Disneyland anymore, but we are definitely entertained.

  1. It`s hard to give up Disneyland, I bet. But looks like you all still had fun! (:

    1. We most definitely did! I sound like a spoiled brat, whining about NOT being able to afford Disneyland.

  2. I've lived in Buena Park for almost 4 years and we still haven't gone. Bummer. We were debating getting passes this year, since the kids are bigger. I think the eyeball jar swayed me to Yes!

    1. Do it! Honestly, having park passes eliminates all the extra $ we would have to spend on entertaining the kids. We rarely go to movies (like, one a year), the only time we went to ChuckECheese was while we were blocked out at Disneyland and Knott's has a frickin bounce house. Plus, it makes a hell of a date night for you and your husband.
